We have been getting a lot of our meat from a butcher that actually supplies a lot of the "fancy" restaruants in downtown Atlanta. Yet it is less expensive than general grocery stores. And it actually tastes like meat should. The first time I had a pork chop from there I was like omg it is like I have never ate a pork chop before.

Emily
eageremily.blogspot.comEmilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03007604113775367797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6281069965301856533.post-15767026237840281242013-07-11T08:08:55.560-04:002013-07-11T08:08:55.560-04:00We currently have a pig waiting for us in the free...We currently have a pig waiting for us in the freezer of my husband's father....thankfully we have a farmer-dad who can raise the pig for us (on a very small, hobby farm) all we have to do is pick it up when it's done. It's not only homegrown, the meat is delicious and so much tastier than supermarket pork.good_to_be_homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16211543583811944880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6281069965301856533.post-81399934665024793262013-07-11T06:13:59.962-04:002013-07-11T06:13:59.962-04:00THIS reaches *typo*!!! sorryTHIS reaches *typo*!!! sorryG i S e L ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10270211465694122636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6281069965301856533.post-40805981465511583082013-07-11T06:13:09.437-04:002013-07-11T06:13:09.437-04:00Let's hope that someday his reaches and convin...Let's hope that someday his reaches and convinces all people on this planet!!!
Think about your food and were it comes from, guys!!!!
I love your blog and I wish your little farm was just around my corner ;-)!!!

Love
Gisela from Munich/Germany
xoxG i S e L ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10270211465694122636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6281069965301856533.post-40766338762590242722013-07-11T04:07:20.663-04:002013-07-11T04:07:20.663-04:00Thank you for sharing this information. Our decision to move there was to have a better life where we do things for ourselves and not for a big corporation who exploit people to make money. And we'll have the extreme luck to be close to farms, and have access to healthy great products. Our dream is to actually farm ourselves. Your blog made me aware of so many things we just decide to ignore about our food and probably influenced our choice on farming. We dream about lovely dairy goats. How I love those creatures!Maëliahttp://birdandanchor.blogspot.co.uknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6281069965301856533.post-43288398531548979452013-07-10T20:13:36.244-04:002013-07-10T20:13:36.244-04:00for real, this is scary shit. amen for real farms ...for real, this is scary shit. amen for real farms and pig nose kisses.Libbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00025390969162152932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6281069965301856533.post-30196568731464842592013-07-10T18:42:15.761-04:002013-07-10T18:42:15.761-04:00Love your blog.
