virtual lilacs
i wrote maura just a few days ago about how much i love lilacs and how sad i was to have found no lilac bushes where we live in north cackalack. she sent me this video of one mother of a bush she found in boston.
for somebody i have never met in person, she is just about the sweetest woman i know.

Hi Kate, I just found your blog and I spent my morning reading back to your very first post. I love seeing a glimpse into your world and hope someday mine will look kind of similar :). I just clipped a bunch of lilacs to bring inside today, wish I could send some your way!
